I am a User Experience Designer based in Singapore who aspires to become a User Experience Developer. I want to be part of the entire creation process, from design to function.
I enjoy building products that are fun and interactive! I have a passion in understanding people's needs, solving real-world problems and invoking a positive change.
I am currently working as an Instructional Associate at General Assembly, where I cultivate partnerships between my students and industry so that they leave with both workforce ready skills and the social capital required for gaining meaningful employment in their fields.
I used to work at NCS Group as a Software Engineer for a year. Unlike many software engineers out there, I had the opportunity to work closely with my users and understand their pain points. With that understanding, I developed solutions to help ease their daily processes and fixed bugs that were highlighted.
I graduated from University of London with a degree in Creative Computing, where the primary focus is on creative thinking which grows out of the juxtaposition of science and art. I learnt to combine artistic creativity and technical computer expertise.
After which, I decided to enroll myself in the User Experience Immersive Bootcamp at General Assembly. During the course, I gained hands-on experience on user research, wireframing, prototyping and usability testing. In addition, I deep dived into visual design and user interface design; and continued to learn more regarding this topic so that I can further improve my own designs.
